TCYEP
Technology and Community Youth Employment Project (TCYEP) is a technology-rich summer camp that equips youth ages 14 to 18 with 21st Century Skills by activities and solving problems focused on conserving our natural resources while learning to conduct an energy audit of homes to determine  weatherization needs.  Energy Auditor is an emerging job position much needed in urban communities.

The Technology and Community Youth Employment Project (TCYEP) provides students fun and engaging hands-on experience using the latest technology and software to produce an advertising campaign to convince their neighborhood to Go Green.  Student groups will create a commercial on “Why Go Green?”; produce interactive presentation on “Our Community Footprint”; and a develop a brochure that provides tips for “Going Green”.  Students will showcase their products at a community awareness forum.  Student will learn how to conduct an energy audit of local homes using information and software from U.S. Department of Energy.

Here is a Going Green commercial produced, directed & written by the students
